At Icertech, we understand how confusing and exhausting it can be to determine which claims you can trust. The packaging industry is saturated with information about the performance or eco-credentials of products, and buzz words such as ‘green’ often thrown around. But what does it all mean?
Here at Icertech all our marketing and sales information is backed by scientific research. We collaborate with leading academic institutions to ensure accuracy, transparency and trustworthiness of our information.
Environmental Impact Verified by Bangor University
The environmental impact of all our packaging is quantified using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies. Independently verified by Bangor University, this data offers transparency and credibility, allowing customers to make informed, sustainable choices about their packaging. This means that you can ignore those confusing “environmentally friendly” claims, and instead compare actual, real-world data to make your decisions.
Temperature Testing with Exeter University
In partnership with a PhD researcher from Exeter University, we’ve developed two bespoke temperature testing profiles. These profiles simulate real-world conditions and ensures our products provide reliable thermal performance for all temperature-sensitive goods. One profile assesses our packaging against year-round weather conditions, the second tests it against the extremes of our summertime weather. What, when and where you are sending your package, do it with confidence in our science-backed performance testing.
Peer-Reviewed Evidence
We continually assess the latest scientific consensus through comprehensive literature review of peer-reviewed sources. This allows us to remain at the forefront of scientific understanding around potentially tricky subjects. All our references are available upon request for those seeking further insights.
At Icertech, research drives our innovation. We hold ourselves to the highest standards; we are Ecovadis Platinum rated after all, meaning we are in the top 1% for sustainability, governance and communities.
