Lyan Packaging Supplies t/a Icertech Achieves Investors in People Accreditation: What It Means for Us and Our Customers

Share

We first obtained Investors in People back in 2015, and we’re proud to announce that we have again secured the Investors in People accreditation, a testament to our ongoing commitment to investing in our most valuable resource: our people.

Investors in People is an internationally recognised standard, helping companies like ours make the most of our team’s potential. It’s a well-known standard that focuses on effective management and development practices. The accreditation process involves a thorough assessment of how companies support and manage their employees to achieve their goals. It provides a clear framework to assess an organisation’s performance in terms of leadership, continuous improvement, and people management.

For our team here at Lyan Packaging, the Investors in People accreditation isn’t just about having a shiny badge on our website; it’s about what it means for everyone who works with us. We hope that this accreditation reflects that we genuinely care about our people and their growth. It means we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and has the chance to learn and develop.

We genuinely appreciate and respect our team members, and it’s important to us to be able to provide them with a framework to develop both personally and professionally. With this focus on personal and professional development, our employees can see a clear path for their careers, feel more engaged in their roles, and know that their hard work is recognised and appreciated.

It’s not just our team members who will see the benefits of our ongoing commitment to Investors in People, but hopefully all stakeholders will realise the positive impact too:

  1. Enhanced Quality and Consistency: A motivated team means a more engaged team, which results in better quality control and consistent products. Our customers can expect high-quality packaging solutions that meet their exact specifications.
  2. Improved Service: Happy employees are more likely to go the extra mile for customers. With our IIP accreditation, we’re committed to providing an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint, whether you’re enquiring with us for the first time, and you’re our regular DPD driver!
  3. Innovative Solutions: By fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, we empower our team to explore new ideas and technologies. This approach allows us to offer innovative packaging solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers.
  4. Sustainability Focus: A key aspect of the IIP framework is building a sustainable business model. We’re dedicated to operating responsibly and sustainably.

Our Investors in People accreditation is a testament to the fact that we really do appreciate the value of our staff within the business. We always aim to give our staff the opportunity to achieve within the business through the provision of training, mentoring and support. Our continued commitment to this accreditation will ensure we continue to improve for the benefit of our people” said Adam Jones, Managing Director.

A special thanks to Owain Lloyd Williams for making the process as enjoyable as possible, and for providing a highly personable experience.
